Joan Miró en una imagen de su estudio en 1942.

Joan Miró exhibited for the first time at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York in 1941. Curated by James Johnshon Sweeney, it was the first major retrospective: 51 paintings, 14 prints, 5 drawings, two tapestries and one rug. We bring you images and archival documents from the exhibition that took place 79 years ago.
