Miquel Barceló has published, together with La Casa dels Clàssics, an illustrated reinterpretation of the Aurea Dicta (Words of Gold), a Catalan book that was published in 1960 and which included texts from the Greek and Latin classics translated into Catalan.
After a rigorous study of the work, Miquel Barceló selected 562 aphorisms from the Aurea Dicta that he grouped by themes distributed in the pages of this new edition. The artist has interpreted these ancient texts by painting directly on the pages of the book. In addition, he himself has designed this limited edition of 1,298 copies working with the best craftsmen and specialists.
