The Chillida-Leku Museum reopens its doors to the public on 17th April 2019.
The cultural space in homage to the Basque sculptor has been closed since 2011 and could only be visited by appointment.
Now open, it is located in the town of Hernani, close to San Sebastian. Founded in 2000 by the artist himself, it has around 40 original outdoor sculptures in the grounds adjacent to the 16th century farmhouse, which functions as a temporary exhibition space. The first exhibition of this new stage is entitled "Eduardo Chillida. Echoes" and presents more than ninety works, making a complete journey through the artist's career.
